This 42-episode series, showcasing the incredible history, form and function of Oriental rugs and textile arts, ran initially on PBS. John Kurtz, a nationally renowned Oriental rug dealer and historian, is a natural host for the series as it takes viewers across the United States and Europe. Viewers learn about the classical Oriental rug traditions including the Caucasian, Persian, Chinese, and Navajo, just to mention a few.
